VirtualBox limiting/disables internet

I downloaded genymotion and it works great, but for some reason the virtualbox disables my internet connection. It says that it is an unrecognized connection. I had to uninstall it to get internet back because I couldn't figure it out.

Windows or Mac? If on Windows you could try uninstalling the extra network drivers it installs (you'll see them in network adapters in control panel).
