VT-X error in installing "intelhaxm-android"

When trying to Install "intelhaxm-android" , i am getting an error which says," The computer does not support Intel Virtulization technology, HAXM cannot be installed"

I tried searching google and you tube, i could not find a proper resolution.

I even tried using Genymotion, but i am facing issues with Oracle VirtualBox, which is showing an error,"Failed to create virtual box client COM object"

I followed all the possible solutions in the internet, but could not fix it.

Kindly help, i am stuck at the very first step.

My system details Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, T6500 @ 2.10GHz System : windows 7 32 bit OS RAM: 3 GB

same issue here. is there a work around available for those of us who cannot install HAXM?

after some research, it seems that this extra is NOT required for operation, it only speeds up the emulation process. i'm going to continue the course without it and see if i can progress.
