W3Schools' Online Certification Program

I've just found the W3Schools' Online Certification Program.

http://www.w3schools.com/cert/default.asp

I was wondering how much merit these courses would have when applying for jobs?

Probably little to none.

Blah, it would probably hurt you more than help. They have little to no credit in the web.

I'd say you could describe them as so...

"Good from far, far from good."

Lol

When I was looking at ways to build credibility for my business I actually remember seeing a comment that said it was better to make up some other place to get a certification than to list that. One thing I did notice though at the same time is people's resumes prominently featuring how many Treehouse badges they had earned.

People feel so strongly against w3schools that someone made this site... http://www.w3fools.com

If you are ever searching via google for any web related tech just type -w3schools in the search bar after your search request to omit w3schools listings.
