Web frameworks!

What web framework is awesome learn, something that is high in demand and all around great to use. I just finished the Sass videos and I am pumped for a great framework! I was thinking about using the bourbon framework. But i'm curious what you guys think!

Hi Trent,

I've been experimenting with Zurb Foundation and like it a lot, much more than Bootstrap. However, Foundation is really, really powerful.

When you need a CSS framework that accounts for everything, Foundation is tough to beat. Large sites or applications with a variety of different layouts should definitely consider foundation. However, for a minimal site with relatively low number of layouts, Foundation might be a simple overkill.

Would also be interested what other people think.

Cheers, Carsten

If you mean Sass libraries (like Bourbon) then Compass is very popular.

Bourbon is a smaller library that's for sure.

My general feeling on "frameworks" in CSS world is as much as needed but no more, that's why I like purecss.io over Twitter bootstrap. That may be a personal preference, since Compass and Bourbon are pretty much the only shows in town, so try them both out.
