Website Development

So you have typed the code to create a website. How can you publish it to the internet. Do you have to use Wordpress, and will worpress accept your code.

Did you do any HTML,CSS, JS, do you know what is WordPress, PHP? Ever heard about hosting companies and domain sellers? I'm not sure how deep my explanation should be to reply.

Yes

I have used hostgator but and wordpress, but I wasn't actually creating the code myself, so I feel limited. Then I created a website in the text editor brackets and I was wondering how I could publish it.

Nick Pettit actually covers this in his https://teamtreehouse.com/library/how-to-make-a-website. Towards the end he will even show you how to get domain hosting and upload your site! It's definitely worth watching!

Thanks so much

Yep. Once you get into WordPress, then look in the WordPress section starting with themes. You need then setup a database etc..
