Website displaying differently after copying the files from treehouse to hosting site

Hi,

I made a website through treehouse workspace and then copied the files/folders to a hosting site.

As per the screenshot link below, in the same browser the webpage displays differently. From the treehouse workspace, when I previewed, the content covered the entire page but when I added the files to GoDaddy hosting, the fonts and the content height have reduced. Treehouse:- http://prntscr.com/98dupx GoDaddy:- http://prntscr.com/98dtg5

I am dreading the thought that I will have to start adjusting the numbers again, unless I get a simple quick fix here.

I have included normalize css file from here too.

Thanks

Hey MAM, this is happening because if you used a workspace from a video, it already had preset css settings, so your webpage looks like it does not have any of those presets

Thanks Jesus for replying.

I figured that normalize.css resets all presets and we start on a blank slate, maybe it doesnt remove all of them.

Is there any way where I can remove all presets?

Thanks

normalize doesn't reset CSS properties it normalises them to be consistent across multiple browsers. If you want to reset them you should use a CSS reset style sheet instead.

got it, thanks
