250 PointsWebsite from start to finish!
Hi guys, just a quick suggestion really you should do a course on building a website from start to finish, now I know you have the "build a simple website" course but it uses grids and has some of the images done already. Perhaps building one without using grids just using CSS (floats etc) and building the website from up would be awesome!

4,557 PointsI believe they basically do with the Projects that you mentioned in your post. :) They cover languages, and even web hosting sites. They also probably cover FTP clients, but I just haven't gotten there yet.

5,089 PointsSo you mean build a site without any guidance or templates? Well you can do that on your own, you don't need a project for that.
Although there are the deep dives that cover HTML and CSS on their own without any context. Perhaps go through those tutorials and then build a site.

You are the only person on this forum that I've seen place a link to their website at the end of every forum post they reply to.
I'm guessing that this probably isn't the place for that.

5,089 PointsJames:
Most discussion forums run on software like phpBB or vBulletin and have a signature feature where most people post a link to their website.
This forum doesn't have that feature (yet), so I kind of 'simulate' it.
I don't see how it's harmful in any way. I try to help people and I've never posted frivolous stuff just to get a free link.
Also, it's not like I'm spamming you with a worthless and irrelevant weight-loss formula or get-rich-quick scheme. I like to think that the content on my site is useful for the people here. I've received many emails from people saying my site has really helped them, and I want to be able to reach more people who can benefit from my site.
