Hello, I'm following the work on my computer and can't get the welcome.erb file to work since its a different file entirely. How can i get it to work? Thanks!

Can you elaborate a bit on what you're trying to do?

Hey, I'm trying to work outside of the treehouse workspace. Basically, I'm trying to find out if I need an IDE. I tried using regular text files (.rb) but obviously that won't work because then i have to create a second .erb file and the terminal can't read from both places.

Do you have ruby installed on your computer? What is the content of the erb file you're trying to render?
