What all skills required for android development

I am new to this programming world i don't have any pre knowldege of any language . i am looking forward to start course with android development my main concern is that do i need any pre knowledge of java language or it will be taught in the course I am looking forward to make career as app developer Thank you..

I am a full time Android developer and I recommend going through the Java course before taking the Android course. While the beginner Android course may get you through without knowing a lot of Java, the other courses will get more difficult if you do not have a knowledge of Java. Java is the basis of Android and without a good foundation on Java, you will not get far in Android.
