When defining the background-color and font-size you accidentally used a semicolon(;) instead of a colon(:)

<html>
   <head>
     <style>
        h1{
          background-color: green;
          font-size: 25px;
       }
     </style>

Update like this.. <html> <head>
<style> h1 { background-color: green; font-size:25px; } </style> </head> <h1> Nick Pettit </h1>
