What am i doing wrong in this CSS/HTML challenge?

I am supposed to add a class called "social-links" to each anchor tag...I thought I did, but it says you need to set the first anchor with a class called "social-links", which confuses me. Help!

<!doctype html> <html> <head> <title>List Example</title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css"> </head> <body>

<a href="social-links">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
<a href="social-links">Send me an Email!</a>

</body> </html>

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>List Example</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  </head>
  <body>

    <a href="social-links">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
    <a href="social-links">Send me an Email!</a>

  </body>
</html>
styles.css

You are using href rather than class, try:

  <a class="social-links">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
  <a class="social-links">Send me an Email!</a>
