I have a Notebook open but cant get the matplotlib instaled and I am using the new method.

running this: import sys !{sys.executable} -m pip install --upgrade pip !{sys.executable} -m pip install msgpack !{sys.executable} -m pip install matplotlib %matplotlib inline

using Jupyter Notebook I got it working with just:

import sys
!pip3 install --upgrade pip
!pip3 install msgpack
!pip3 install matplotlib```

hope that's not cheating.... ;)
