What am I doing wrong with this objective?

The objective I'm on deals with arguments and parameters.

function returnValue(food) { return food }

var echo { returnValue('hello'); }

When you are setting a variable equal to something you always use the = symbol, not brackets or anything like that.

Your code is almost correct, just remove the surrounding brackets from the "var echo" line and use the equal symbol instead.
