What am I missing here? No space in between the text in the h2 tag. Shouldn't this work?

Hi Patrick,

Those double-quotes in the paragraph(...containing the text "Shopping List") are there just to delimit the text that needs to be added between those h2 tags. You need to drop those quotes in your HTML code.
