What are the advantages of knowing how to do both web designing and developing that make it worth doing it?

Or if it's not worth doing both and just one, please let me know what you say because I am not too full of knowledge. Thanks..

Hi Chris,

It's always nice to be good at both as it allows you to make good looking and dynamic websites.

However, I guess it comes down to what you want to do. Are you looking to pursue a career in Web Developing or Design?

Sometimes it depends on the size of the company recruiting. Large companies usually look for an expert in their field, whereas smaller companies normally look for 'all rounders' that can do a bit of both to a high standard.

If you are looking to do web development as a hobby, to freelance etc, then it is nice to learn both designing and development to build the best websites you can (especially when not working with others).

This is a difficult question to answer as there is no definitive answer, it comes down to many factors (mainly personal).

Hope this helps

Thanks! I like the idea of doing both much better, at least for me. I will try out both.
