What backend language should I go with?

Hey everyone

I'm currently in the middle of creating an app where my business partner is in charge of frontend development. Now, I need to be responsible for all of the backend.

My question is, what language should I go with? PHP, Ruby, or Python?

Thanks in advance.

They can all do pretty much the same (some better some not that good). They all have pretty big communities...even though php is a lot bigger since it existes since several years. Most sites on the web use php though. Well you give not enough information...so I would say just use the one you like. If you are a beginner I might wont choose php....and if you want to start with php then atleast learn php 7
