What code should I first start learning?

Hi!

I am a beginner and I have just started learning with Teamtreehouse. I'm at my first lessons Digital Literacy.

I am working this days as a Sales Manager but in the future i am interested in changing my career.

What should I start learning to have a chance to get a job in the IT domain.

Thank you for your future answers and advices.

Have a nice day !!!

Hi Laurentiu,

There's really no easy answer to that except to say that Treehouse is bound to have something for you.

I'd say that no matter where you want to go in the technology industry you'll need to have design skills so you can style your applications how you want. So you'll need to know CSS.

If you want to learn how to make interactive websites you'll need the Front End Developer or Full Stack JavaScript Track.

If you want to learn websites that interact with a Database go for PHP and Database Courses.

You can learn to design mobile apps for both Apple OS, iOS and Android, though you'll need an apple computer to do this on a MAC.

There's also WordPress Development to learn to be a WordPress development. There's so much choice on Treehouse. Have a look at the tracks and see what interests you. :0)

Once you finish the Digital Literacy Track, there is a short video to watch to give you some insight on what to start learning in anything that interests you. Otherwise, Johnathan hit the nail on the head for suggestions, so to speak.
