What Computer is the best for programmin?

Hello everyone!

Im wondering what computer is best to program and to use software like adobe photoshop and so on...

Im getting mixed responses about mac thats good or bad same as about windows and some people say that linx is better and so on..

Im intrested to begin program websites and apps later one. I also want to use abdobe like photoshop , after effects etc.. I can spend up to 1.6 pounds to buy a computer but as is said i dont know whats the best .

Does anyone know what would be the best ? i would really appriciate it :)

It's really simple. If you need/want to use Adobe products then we can drop the linux and move to the win / mac world.

1) mac has the unix capabilities by default 2) windows is more affordable

Now it is a question of preference. Have you ever worked with Mac ? Did you like it ? If yes go for Mac.

For me the preferences are :

1) UNIX like is a must have (mac or linux) 2) screen quality (i can no longer work with FHD only) 3) I like the mac ecosystem the answer for me is obviously the macbook pro retina

You will ever want a Linux only as a backend / server side platform for you application hence you can use it as a VM or a remotely as a service.

There are some people who prefer to have an option to play almost all of the games so they will go with the windows machine.

i will say get a mac even though it is expensive but you could run both OSX which has Unix and windows 7 or 8 you just need to do some upgrade like change the memory to 8GB get a bigger hard 1 TB .
