3,016 PointsWhat course do you guys recommend for beginner programmers that have no programming/coding experience?
My intentions are to build iOS apps and big websites like twitter/facebook/search engines, etc in the future. And a fellow treehouse member gave me the advice that if that's the case, as a beginner with no experience I should start with the javascript basics course. What are your opinions on this? And where should I start to get to the level of programming I intend on reaching?
I know my questions in the forum have gotten a bit repetitive, but I just want to gather as much information as possible, information from programmers. Thanks :)

8,378 PointsI suggest you take the front end developement track. It teaches you how to build website and fundamentel of html, css, and JavaScript. Once you understand JavaScript, learning other languages shoudln't be difficult like PHP or Ruby. I am not a PHP developer, but I understand it clearly. It almost the same as JavaScript except is a server side language. I am currently on the Front End track and hopefully should be done soon.

8,378 PointsYes, all programming languages have the same concept like Array, Boolean, String. After the front end track, take the ios track. By understanding JavaScript, it will be a lot easiest for you to learn any other language.
