What difference does it make if I am using '../' or writing the file path to the images or article page that I need?
The video states that I need to instruct the browser to come out of a subfolder in order to link the image of my choice. But what if I just write the file path instead? I did the latter and it worked just fine for me

I don't think it makes a difference, however, it can get a little tedious to do it that way because you might have to do '../' multiple times. Me personally I prefer to write the file directly.
