What Do I Do Now???

I have no idea what I did wrong!!!

  if even_odd(num):

  start = start - 1

def even_odd(num):

It seems like you first need to "def" your function before you use it. Also do you really need two loops that are the same (maybe I'm seeing wrong, but I don't see any difference between them).

It looks like your new code block has been inserted twice. You only need one copy, the one below the function. Just remove the first one and you should pass the challenge.
