Hi I am trying to understand what what it mean by put in a a div CSS or lines.

div which stands for division is an html element that is used to group other elements together. Sort of sectioning your content. HTML5 introduced a newer tag that is provides semantic markup to your content in the form of a section tag. You should, where possible, use this tag over div.
