What does fill mode mean?

This is the code I am working with

body {
    -webkit-animation: bg-move 8s linear infinite;
}
.mike {
    -webkit-animation: mike-move 6s 6s ease-out forwards,
                                     mike-float 3.2s infinite;
}
.boat {
    -webkit-animation: rock-boat 3s ease infinite;
}
.steam {
    -webkit-animation: steam 4s 2s infinite;
}

Hi Robbie, the fill mode in css means "specifies what styles will apply for the element when the animation is not playing (when it is finished, or when it has a "delay")"

Thank You :)

My pleasure! :)
