What does void itself mean? (won't mind a little history lesson). In what situations can it be used in and how? Please simplify as much as possible. :D

12,216 PointsIt just means nothing is being returned. If your return type is "void" you're using the method, function, whatever to do some work that doesn't require it to give you a value back to work with once it's done executing.
