What if I errase the "return" on the isEmpty boolean?, does it change something?

public boolean isEmpty(){
  /*return*/ pezCount == 0; //What if I errase the return?
  }

then the method should be Void which mean without return. instead of boolean

public void isEmpty(){
  pezCount = 0; 
  }

But, the return in your example means To return the value of the logic of checking pezCount equals to zero ( so the value of return will be true to method caller) or not equaling to zero ( value of return false)

Also if he was to just outright erase "return" from his method WITHOUT changing it from boolean to void, then the compiler will throw an error saying that the method is marked as boolean but isn't returning one.
