what if i wanted the hover class to target a particular id or class?

what if i wanted the hover class to target a particular id or class? i tried typing the class and id name eg move-down: hover. but it didnt work. i actually want to target a particular image but i cant just type img: hover because there is more than one image in my code.

Hi Melissa. You're on the right path you are just making a simple mistake.

the code you are entering is

.move-down: hover{
    <!-- CODE HERE -->
}

<!-- you just need to remove the space -->
.move-down:hover {
    <!-- CODE HERE -->
}
