I'm not understanding the purpose of a method in JS. Is a method like a pathway to a code library?

231,269 PointsA method is kind of function. The name "method" is used when the function is part of an object.
Another way to put it would be to say a method is a property of an object that is also a function.

12,842 PointsHi Steven, Good to "see" you again, and thanks for your help! :) I always wondered if method was the same thing as a function...and I appreciate the concise reply & some better understanding that no, they're a bit different.
