Business How to Build Your Company From Idea to Execution Customers

What is an important element of a multi-sided market?

The Question 's answer is"You are only providing value if both customer segments are present " . Don't know why only providing if .... ?

1 Answer

A multi-sided market consists of two overlapping customer segments, so you are only providing value if you reach both. I believe they used Facebook as an example, the two segments are the users and the advertising companies. The ads help keep Facebook free for users, and the millions of users or potential customers is the incentive for the ad companies.

Hope that helps :)
