What is QA access on Wordpress?

I was set up at my company to have "QA" access to our corporate site as opposed to Dev. Specifically what does this mean?

And also, is this the reason that when I make a change on a page and press update and it says "page updated" but when I go to the actual site the changes aren't made?

QA stands for quality assurance, usually. I'm not aware of such a thing on a standard wordpress site so I think this is probably something specific to your companies wordpress site.

With regard to changes not taking effect you may have to delete your temporary internet files and cookies and try logging back in again. Most of the time you should see changes you make to your worfpress website instantly. :-)

I just cleared my cache and cookies and the changes still aren't appearing...

Having no idea as well, as this could be something custom, you may want to check with whoever gave you access to the wordpress site, and find out. It may be that your changes have to be approved by another individual in the company before they go live, sorta like a checks and balance type thing.
