PHP PHP Basics Daily Exercise Program String Manipulation

What is 'Task 3' of 'String Manipulation looking for?

I'm feeling a bit silly that I'm stuck on this task, but I can't seem to get my code to validate. Here are the next steps needed:

1) Use the $fullName variable to display the following string to the screen. Rasmus Lerdorf was the original creator of PHP

2) Use an escape character to add a newline to the end of the string.

From what I can tell working in a Workspace, my code accomplishes what it needed. I'm pretty sure it isn't the best way, but anything I try seems to fail. Any thoughts?

index.php
<?php

//Place your code below this comment
$firstName = 'Rasmus';
$lastName = 'Lerdorf';
$fullName = "$firstName" . ' ' . "$lastName" . ' ' . 'was the original creator of PHP.' . "\n";

echo $fullName;
?>

Hello! Try to change the end of your code like this:

$fullName = $firstName." ". $lastName;

echo $fullName." "."was the original creator of PHP\n";

Thanks so much, Evgeniia! It makes so much sense now seeing what you did there. I really appreciate you passing along this reply!
