PHP Integrating PHP with Databases Using Relational Tables Fetching Many Relationships

What is the answer to this challenge?

I've tried several different approaches to this challenge and I just can't figure it out! I'd really just like to see the answer so I can move on with the course.

index.php
<?php

include "helper.php";

while($row = $results->fetch(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC)){
  $item['genres'] = $row;
}
/*
 * helper contains the following variables:
 * $item is an array that contains details about the library item
 * $results is a PDOstatement object with our genre results.
 */

This seems to work:

foreach($results as $row){ $item['genres'][$row['genre_id']] = $row['genre'];

}
