here is a shell of what your function should look like:

returnType functionName(dataType argumentOne, dataType argumentTwo) {

  return something;

}

the challenge tells you it should return a float, what to name the function, the arguments should be floats (you can name them whatever) and that it needs to return the sum of the arguments passed in to the function
