4,600 PointsWhat is the best hosting for me ?
I wrote some small project using html and css on my pc. Now i'm looking for hosting where I can just transfer all my files to. The thing is - all the hostings that I know are providing some editors to make it easier to build a web site, but what I need is JUST an empty space to locate my work ... Please suggest some hostings for me =)

28,149 PointsI use hostgator too as a testbed of sorts. I just have their micro-plan or whatever it is, like $10 a month going month to month. I've had good luck with them so far, and the one time I contacted their support I got a response and a resolution pretty fast from a human. Yay.
At this point I don't think I've logged in to my Hostgator account in months. I have the FTP credentials saved in CyberDuck, so when I need to make changes to the files on the server, that's all I use to get it done.

15,645 PointsI changed to A Small Orange 6 months ago and it has been wonderful. 24/7 live support and the prices are very competitive. I have the Cloud VPS service so I can manage sites for multiple clients easily. If you are just playing around with your own site and personal projects they have a "tiny" shared hosting plan for $35/year.
