General Discussion

what is the best (not free) html, css, javascript editor?

Hi

I tried the free Sublime text editor but I don't like it that much. Is there something better? even if it is expensive?

No I don't like it.

I need something between simple and advanced. something nice to look at and code in.

Sublime Text really is the pinnacle for an all-purpose editor for a developer. If you want something that's geared specifically for frontend development, try Coda?

Adobe Edge Code / Brackets is great. And free. I don't know why you'd want to pay for it if the free one works perfectly?

I have used dreamweaver and a few others but I love Sublime Text!

Coda is really nice to look at and pretty much has all the features and plug-ins I need - although I am very front-end oriented, which goes back to Scott's response.
