I am learning java and I was wondering what the best text editor is for Java. If anyone could tell me their favorite that would be great!

There are a couple, but I personally like IntellijIDEA by JetBrains. (You will only need the "community" version, which is free). I've never had problems with it. It's easy to customize to your liking. If you move into Android Development, the Android Studio IDE is also a product of JetBrains and based on IntellijIDEA.
