What is the best text editor I can use offline?

I use Brackets and Sublime text editor. Sublime text is not free but worth it. Use brackets if you can't afford sublime text editor. check out the site below. http://brackets.io/

Just to add. Sublime Text is free. But every so often a message pops-up that reminds you that you're using a Free Version.
