I just feel that if i do not use these, I will not retain them. Any suggestions on practicing?

33,856 PointsRajen, one easy way to practice is participation in the Treehouse forum. Answering questions — especially the same ones over — will help you retain things.
Other suggestions. Read, read, read. Subscribe to blogs, follow knowledgeable people on Twitter, newsletters, websites, etc.. Don't forget to make stuff, too. Use Workspaces, CodePen, and other resources to practice.
Here are some newsletters and blogs you can immediately start following.
