what is the best way to progress in android development after the tutorials? and will they teach me enough?

I want to know if the tutorials will give me enough knowledge to continue creating apps after I have finished all the android related courses, including the seperate Java one

If you master all the tutorials you will have the skills to create apps.

You will definitely need to know some java and even so it takes more reading and practice after you are done before you start to actually fully understand what is going on, but if you invest in the time needed you will get the knowledge needed to continue creating your own apps.

I have experience in VBS, ASP and C# so Java isn't a problem was just wondering how much the course helps you on the way to android :) and it seems to be doing fine so far

Yes it does help. At the end of each course you get an app done and that is very helpful in giving you knowledge needed to move on. Good luck on the rest of the course.
