What is the best way to put an SVG file from photoshop into your web page?

I am currently trying embedded and all this other stuff I'm reading on forums and the image is just invisible.

<img src="images/HalloweenHobbyLogo.svg">

The svg is located in a file named "images" and it seems to work with internet explorer but not Google Chrome?
