What is the different between file.php and file.html?

Can file.php can do the html code?

1 Answer

A .php file can do everything that a .html file can do, but more. With HTML files you cannot add any PHP code, however in a PHP file you can use HTML code and also PHP code to add more functionality to your page/website like handling form data, using sessions/cookies, and use databases.
