What is the main difference between margin and padding? They seem to do the same thing.

When I replace the values from margin to padding and vice versa, they seem to make the same changes.

Hi, Joey. The difference between the two is where the space is added in relation to the border. Padding is added between the inside content and the border, while margins are added between the border and other content.
