To simply put.. everything and anything that involves programming. It is not the most popular programming language but is used in all sorts of different situations and sectors.

Python is a multi purpose language that can be used for all sorts of programming tasks including;

Game Development, Web Design (Backend and Frontend, more use it for backend), Logic Chip programming, 3D Design task programming, and much more.

Anything people use C for, people are also using Python for, Python is just basically another layer on C.
