Hello everyone,
this might sound really stupid, but I really wonder what is the point of buying the subscription besides supporting team tree house project? I mean they upload probably all the videos on youtube and you can watch them out there for free. So basically what I get by buying a subscription is badges and quizzes, nothing else, am I right?
Don't get me wrong though, I will gladly buy a subscription, because I love this project, I was just wondering.

14,266 PointsThe only way to watch the course videos and take the quizzes and course challenges is to buy a subscription.
The stuff on YouTube will not teach you (much).

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 49,959 PointsThey don't upload the full courses to Youtube, most of the videos on there are just trailers. They release some content for free but to access the full courses you need a subscription.
