What is wrong ?

import logging

logging.basicConfig(filename='cc.log', level=logging.DEBUG)

a, b = 1, 3

logging.info("Mess {} {}".format(a, b))

A "debug" message uses the .debug() method:

import logging

logging.basicConfig(filename='cc.log', level=logging.DEBUG)

a, b = 1, 3
logging.debug("Mess {} {}".format(a, b))  # <-- changed to 'debug'
