Hi Jahid, you did what the challenge wants in the last line of code. Every other thing is not needed.

//You called the $.get() method here-not needed
$.get("footer.html");

//You declared a foo() function-not needed
function foo (param) { }

/**You were probably trying to create a
 function expression but the 'var' keyword
 is missing, nonetheless - this line is not needed
*/
bar = function (param) { };

//Declared an anonymous function-not needed
function (param) { }

//You called the $.get() here AGAIN but this time you did it the right way according to the challenge
$.get("footer.html", function (response) { });
