There are two errors in your code:

1 - x refers to a single item, and items refers to the entire list. You need to check x in your condition, and print x.

2 - Indentation is important in python. The if/else blocks need to be inside the for block or else the code will not run.

def loopy(items):
    for x in items:
        if (x == "STOP"):
            break
        else:
            print(x)
