Hi Gilbert,

You've moved the try/catch block. It is now outside main. It needs to be where the original kart.drive(42); call is so delete the curly brace after where you've commented that out and then look into your indenting.

Steve.

class Example {

  public static void main(String[] args) {
    GoKart kart = new GoKart("purple");
    if (kart.isBatteryEmpty()) {
      System.out.println("The battery is empty");
    }
    //kart.drive(42);
  } // <---*** DELETE THIS BRACE ***
   try {
  kart.drive(42);
  } catch (IllegalArgumentException iae) {
  System.out.printf(iae.getMessage());
 }
}
} // <--- *** ADD IT HERE ***

Hi Gilbert,

Your code looks fine?! I just wrote this and it passed. Let me look into it further.

Steve.

    try {
      kart.drive(42);
    } catch(IllegalArgumentException iae){
      System.out.println(iae.getMessage());
    }

I'm wrong ... you've move the block - more in a sec ...

It worked thank you

No problem! :+1: :smile:
