I would also say, try the Treehouse Club: JavaScript These new lessons help students ease into the Treehouse way of learning. Also it is really quick and helpful!

By the way Treehouse Island Inc. offers student discounts, for well, students. Email the treehouse staff and inquire about this.

I would also suggest Introduction to Programming.

Hey Derek, all great suggestions aside, it would be best to approach Javascript on Treehouse in this order:

Treehouse Club: JavaScript

Introduction to Programming

JavaScript Foundations

Hope this helps!

+1 for Teame Gebru's suggested list if you are brand new to programming.

Hi Derek,

I would recommend you start at JavaScript Foundations and work up from there to other courses.

Hey James, Thanks for the +1, I was ecstatic when I saw that, learned a lot from you helping students and myself on the forum.
