Hello Treehouse! I'm a recent graduate of the Art Institute of TN Nashville with a BFA in Graphic / Web Design with a focus on web design. I know HTML, CSS, Basic JavaScript, Sass, Adobe XD, Photoshop, InDesign, and illustrator. My school shut down but I was able to get out one quarter before it did with my degree. I didn't have ANY help from them with looking for a job. I've been struggling to find ones to even apply to in Nashville since October.
With my skill set what jobs do I qualify for?
I've looked for these titles (entry level): UX/UI Designer UX/UI Developer Front-end Developer
Do I just not have what it takes to get these jobs? Which ones should I be looking for? Also I have barley seen any that say they are junior or entry level positions. So I'm reaching out to the treehouse community for some advice on where to go from here.

14,084 Pointsbeing a developer(front-end) is a different story than being a designer , although they are related to each other . with a glance at your skill set i can say you can go either way . but you have to make a decision on which one makes u feel better and more productive . coding or designing. if you find yourself more into designing , spending more time working with Photoshop or adobe XD than working with an editor , coding stuff , i'd say you should look for junior UX/UI Designer position ( or even an intern position ) for the first step. if you're more curios and passionate about coding , go for UX/UI Developer ( junior / intern ) positions. either way you will improve fast i'm sure . also i think being a front-end developer requires more knowledge than just a UI Developer . you need to learn at least one front end framework such as VUE , REACT or ANGULAR and be fluent with javascript . so , you may want to start as a UI DEV and then go on and go on till you reach whatever you dream for :D one more suggestion, whatever you do , just start creating things . this way you learn and eventually find your way into the business . hope it helped . never stop trying ;)
