What language(s) would I need to learn to program a protractor app?

Also if there are any helpful sites that contain any relevant code it would be mighty useful :)

Thanks in advance Tree-housers!

I guess that depends on where you want to publish it.

You need to be more clear about what you actually want your app to do as well.

Hey Johnathan!

Thanks for getting back to me so fast :)

If I could make a web app that can have a user upload a picture then align 2 lines to form an angle which is measured and displayed over the image this would be effectively what I'd like to attempt.

Some ability to change the colour, thickness & dotted vs plain line would be bonus.

Being able to draw circles etc would be next level.

There's currently an iOS app called "Angle Measure Tool" which has the functionality I envision. However a web platform I think (possibly incorrectly) might be easier considering (as you can see on my treehouse profile) I've only learnt a little HTML, CSS & touched on database stuff...

I would suggest that you take the Android Development Track and the Objective-C Development Track as I think you might be trying to run before you can walk.

Everything you are asking probably doesn't seem that complicated but writing it in any language won't be easy!

I certainly don't think I would be able to do it yet. If you are interested in Web Apps there are many software providers out there who have products that can help you make something. Unfortunately I think the only way you will get there is by studying the material available to you and getting a much clearer idea of what you actually want to do!

Sorry I don't think I can be of any further help!

Thanks for your valuable comments to date Jonathan and Happy New Year!

Just re-asking my question to see if anyone else is able to provide some feedback on this topic?

Thanks in advance Tree-housers!
